Red hot chilli peppers

we grew two varieties last  season. and now I have to wash my hands  these fruit are very strong in taste.

I ballanced  a big chilli on the plant  to show you the difference in size

can only use the chillies when they turn red  this plant got hit by the frost  last November, but still produced a few more chilli.

Our red hot pepper plant is sill producing peppers and still growing new leaves. even after a few nights of frost.  the bowl shows the amount we have had off this one plant

wonder if its been left  for the ducks to clean themselves.

Land rover

The apple tree in the garden of plas cae crown old peoples home.

On my walk to Lidle's store today  I saw this old land rover  in the car park of Pavilion court,  its a shame really  as the registration alone is worth a few pounds,  land rover is  also  a welsh thoroughbred,

the registration of the vehicle is worth quite a lot of money,

The design for the original Land Rover vehicle was started in 1947 by Maurice Wilks, chief designer at the Rover Company, on his farm in Newborough, Anglesey.
This particular example is the 88" 2.0 litre petrol. Very similar to the previous 86" but stretched by 2" to accommodate a new diesel engine. It was produced for a very short time and is the last of the 'Series I' vehicles before the introduction of the Series II in 1958. Many enthusiasts you speak too might not even know that there was an 88" Series I.
All of that extra 2" was added in front of the bulkhead. Behind the bulkhead it was largely unchanged from the previous 86"
Anything of this vintage is going to need careful maintenance and lots of TLC unless you're lucky enough to find a fully restored or original vehicle,
